Celebrate DC’s Running Community and Culture
A hometown celebration of the District’s running community and culture, the DC Half will take place on the streets of DC! The DC Half is presented by your local run shop, Pacers Running, and includes a half marathon, and two or three-person half-marathon.
The race takes place on September 18th and takes place at 2912 Independence Ave SW
Washington, DC US 20418 at 7:30 am.
There will be no day-of-race packet pickup or registration. Packet pick-up takes place on Friday, Sept 16th from 11 am - 8 pm and Saturday from 11 am - 6 pm, at Pacers 14th Street. Participants can pick up their own packet, and up to five additional packets for other racers.
For the in-person race, there will be several awards offered. The top three finishers in the male, female, and non-binary categories. Then the top three overall in the male and female age groups.
There will also be a virtual race option, which can be completed between September 18th and the 27th.
Finally, the day before, there will be a Shake Out Run! A 5k run meant to shake out the legs and the nerves, free and open to
all levels and paces!
