Drive-In Movie at Union Market by i5 Union
Turn on the time machine! It’s time to experience the old-school joy of a drive-in movie theater. Roll down your windows, feel that warm breeze, and turn up the radio because it is time again for the 11th Annual Drive-In at Union Market. Called a DC “must-do,” taking place every first and third Friday of every month through July 21st.
This is a movie-lovers and a foodie's combined dream. Drive-In at Union Market prides itself on its “better-than-average” concessions. Watch a movie under the stars while munching and sipping on local, regional, and international foods. Like, menu-items from the Lebanese-inspired kabab shop Yasmine, homemade ice cream from The Creamery at Union Market, creative cocktails from Suburbia, and more Union Market fan favorites.
i5 Union Market is excited to be sponsoring the Friday, May 19th showing of the hit-Disney movie, Coco. The film is rated PG, a movie for the whole family! About an aspiring musician Miguel, confronted with his family’s ancestral ban on music, enters the Land-of-the-Dead to find his great-great-grandfather, who is a legendary singer.
The parking lot opens at 7:30 pm, will close at 8:40 pm, and the movie will also start at 8:40 pm. Each movie showing cost $20 per car.
